The Top 50 Women in Engineering Awards shine a spotlight on the talent, dedication and impact of women in the field. By celebrating human creativity and technological innovation, the awards aim to inspire future generations and drive greater diversity in engineering.

Entries that focus solely on engineering or solely on supporting women won’t be as successful as those that demonstrate both.

The Women’s Engineering Society is a charitable company founded in 1919 to support women in engineering. More than 100 years later, it continues to operate as a membership society, promoting the education of women in engineering and advancing the education of the public concerning the study and practice of engineering among women. The society founded International Women in Engineering Day, held on 23 June annually as an international awareness campaign to raise the profile of women in engineering and focus attention on the career opportunities available in the industry. According to the society, its vision is of an engineering industry that employs the diversity of the society it serves, to solve the biggest societal issues of our time.
